The catch behind each option
- Code eSIM: our cheapest unlimited plans slow to 1 Mbps after 3 GB a day, where Airalo allows 5 GB, and they skip Switzerland, Norway and Iceland. Our 10 GB and 20 GB plans route data through the UK, so websites see a UK IP address. We are a smaller store, with far fewer independent reviews than the big brands.
- Airalo: the widest single plan, with 41 countries including Turkey, Ukraine and the Balkans, but 10 GB costs four times ours.
- Ubigi: $15.00 for 10 GB is half of Airalo’s price and includes the UK and Switzerland. We only checked its 10 GB plan.
- Holafly: unlimited only, so a light user pays $27.50 for a week that 10 GB would cover. Hotspot sharing is limited to 1 GB a day, and Turkey and the Balkans are not in its Europe plan.
