TSimTech was the cheaper option for India, the Philippines, the Asia multi-country plan and China, Korea and Japan. In mainland China, our own-label plan gives 20 GB for $12.00 against TSimTech’s 15 GB for $10.85, and can be topped up. In Nepal the two plans cost the same, and the Airalo one can be topped up. Australia was within 20 cents.

No top-up: what that means
None of the 58 TSimTech plans can be topped up. If the data runs out before the trip ends, you buy and install a new eSIM, which needs an internet connection, usually hotel Wi-Fi. Three habits avoid the problem:
- Buy one size up. Data you do not use is cheaper than a second eSIM; in Cambodia, for example, 20 GB for 30 days costs $14.05.
- Watch your usage. Check the remaining data on our usage page with your order number.
- If you will need more, choose a plan that tops up. Our top-up audit explains which plans do.
TSimTech in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau
Several TSimTech plans list mainland China. The single-country China plan with 15 GB for 30 days, $10.85, lists China Mobile and exits in Hong Kong. Greater China and Taiwan Premium lists China Mobile, SmarTone in Hong Kong, CTM in Macau and Chunghwa in Taiwan, and exits in Macau; 10 GB for 30 days costs $9.50. Asia Premium also lists mainland China. Asia 12 Countries does not. For how China plans compare by exit location, see our China eSIM guide.
Short-trip plans
Three TSimTech plans last five days, for a stopover or a short business trip: 4 GB across China, Korea and Japan for $5.00, 3 GB in India for $5.65 and 3 GB across 11 Asian countries for $5.80. Like the rest of the range, they start on first data use and cannot be topped up.
When another plan is the better buy
- You may need more data later. No TSimTech plan can be topped up. Sparks and NextLink plans always can; see our brand comparison.
- You want mainland China and Singapore on one plan with top-up. Asialink lists both and can be topped up.
- You want an address in the country you are visiting. TSimTech data exits in Singapore, Macau or Hong Kong, whichever country you are in.
- You want unlimited data or a phone number. No TSimTech plan we sell has either.
Frequently asked questions
What is TSimTech eSIM?
TSimTech is a travel eSIM brand focused on Asia, sold through resellers including Code eSIM. On 17 October 2026 we listed 58 TSimTech plans in 20 families, from $4.20. All are data-only, start on first data use and list hotspot as supported.
Can I top up a TSimTech eSIM?
No. None of the 58 TSimTech plans we sell supports top-up. If you run out of data, you buy and install a new eSIM, so choose a size with some margin, or a plan from a brand that tops up, such as Asialink, Sparks or NextLink.
Where does TSimTech data exit?
It depends on the plan. Of our 58 TSimTech plans, 37 list Singapore as the IP routing location, 11 list Macau and 7 list Hong Kong; three do not publish one. Websites will see that location, not the country you are in.
Does TSimTech eSIM work in mainland China?
Several TSimTech plans list mainland China. The China plan with 15 GB for 30 days, $10.85 on 27 October 2026, lists China Mobile and exits in Hong Kong. Greater China and Taiwan Premium and Asia Premium also list China; Asia 12 Countries does not.
Is TSimTech cheap?
Often. On 17 October 2026 it was the cheapest 10 GB plan we sold for India, at $13.25, and the Philippines, at $9.25. Its Asia 12 Countries plan cost $9.80 for 10 GB against $13.00 for Asialink.
When does a TSimTech eSIM start?
All 58 TSimTech plans we sell start on first data use, so you can install the eSIM before you fly and the validity begins when it first uses data at your destination.
TSimTech or Asialink?
TSimTech’s Asia 12 Countries plan is cheaper, but lists no mainland China or Singapore network and cannot be topped up. Asialink lists 16 countries, including both, and can be topped up. Pick by your route and by whether you might need more data.
TSimTech is a good price in much of Asia, as long as you size the plan for the whole trip. Check the exit location and the country list on the plan page, and if you may need more data, choose a plan that can be topped up.
