Asialink is Airalo’s regional eSIM for Asia. We sell four Asialink sizes, all valid for 30 days: 3 GB for $7.00, 5 GB for $9.00, 10 GB for $13.00 and 20 GB for $19.00, on 17 October 2026. Our Asialink plan page lists networks in 16 countries, from mainland China, Japan and South Korea to Thailand, Vietnam, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. On Airalo’s own site that day, Asialink cost $25.00 for 10 GB and listed 18 countries, adding India and Taiwan.
Asialink suits a trip that crosses several Asian countries, especially one that includes mainland China, because one eSIM covers the whole route. Below are the 16 countries and the networks our plan page names for each, the price against Airalo’s own, the other Asia plans we sell, and when one of those is the better buy. We have not run speed tests.
- Countries: 16 with a network listed on our plan page.
- Sizes: 3, 5, 10 and 20 GB, each for 30 days.
- Start: on first data use. The plan pages say the eSIM expires if it is not activated within two months of purchase.
- Top-up and hotspot: both listed as supported.
- Phone number: none; Asialink is data-only.
- Android: the plan pages say Android users must set the APN manually.
- Exit location: not published.

Asialink against the other Asia plans we sell
Asialink is not the cheapest Asia plan in our catalogue, but it lists more countries than the others in this table, and it can be topped up. These are the closest alternatives at about 10 GB for 30 days on 17 October 2026.

- With mainland China on the route: Asialink or Asia Premium. Asia 12 Countries does not list a mainland China network.
- Japan, Korea and China only: a three-country plan is cheaper and gives more data. Our guide to Japan and Korea eSIMs compares the options.
- Southeast Asia without China: Asia 12 Countries costs less, but it cannot be topped up, so buy the size you will need.
- Bangladesh, Pakistan or Sri Lanka with East Asia: Asialink is the only plan in the table that lists all three.

How to set up Asialink
- Install before you fly, on Wi-Fi. The plan starts on first data use, so installing early does not use up days.
- On Android, set the APN by hand. The plan pages say Android users must adjust the APN settings manually. Our eSIM diagnostic page shows the APN for your order.
- After landing, choose Asialink as your cellular data line and turn on data roaming for that line only.
- Top up rather than rebuy. If you run low, add data to the same eSIM from your order.
Frequently asked questions
What is Asialink eSIM?
Asialink is Airalo’s regional data eSIM for Asia. At Code eSIM it comes in four 30-day sizes, from $7.00 for 3 GB to $19.00 for 20 GB, on 17 October 2026. Our plan page lists networks in 16 countries, including mainland China, Japan, South Korea and Thailand.
Which countries does Asialink cover?
Our Asialink plan page lists Bangladesh, Cambodia, mainland China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. Airalo’s own Asialink page also lists India and Taiwan.
Does Asialink work in mainland China?
Our Asialink plan page lists China Unicom, China Mobile and China Telecom for mainland China. It does not publish where data exits. Our China eSIM guide compares plans that state their exit location.
Does Asialink cover India or Taiwan?
Not the Asialink plans we sell. Airalo’s own Asialink page lists both. For Taiwan, our Asia 12 Countries plan includes it; for India, a country plan from $13.25 for 10 GB costs less than a regional one.
How much does Asialink cost?
On 17 October 2026, our Asialink plans cost $7.00 for 3 GB, $9.00 for 5 GB, $13.00 for 10 GB and $19.00 for 20 GB, each for 30 days. Airalo’s own site charged $15.00, $25.00 and $39.00 for the 5, 10 and 20 GB sizes.
Can I top up an Asialink eSIM?
Yes. All four Asialink plans we sell support top-up, so you can add data to the same eSIM instead of installing a new one. They also list hotspot as supported.
Asialink or Asia 12 Countries: which should I buy?
Asialink if your route includes mainland China, Singapore or South Asia, or if you may need to top up. Asia 12 Countries costs less, $9.80 for 10 GB against $13.00, but lists no mainland China or Singapore network and cannot be topped up.
Asialink is the broadest single Asia plan we sell and one of the few that can be topped up. Read the country list against your route first; if India or Taiwan is on it, or if your trip is just Japan and Korea, another plan fits better.
