On 12 October 2026, an unlimited USA eSIM for 5 days cost $18.50 with Airalo, $20.50 with Holafly and $23.92 with us. For 10 days it cost $34.00, $36.50 and $36.80. The plans differ in where the limit sits: Airalo slows to 1 Mbps after 5 GB of use in a day, Holafly lets you share 1 GB a day by hotspot, and ours give 30 GB or 60 GB in total at full speed, then 2 Mbps. We sell no unlimited plan longer than 10 days. For most trips a fixed plan costs less than any of them: 30 GB for 30 days was $22.20 with us.
Unlimited data is the most searched promise in travel eSIMs, and the US is where people want it most: long drives on maps, video calls home, a laptop on hotspot. Below are three providers’ own prices for unlimited USA plans, what each one limits, and the fixed-data plans that cost less for the same trip.
Quick picks by trip
| Your trip | What to buy | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 5 days, heavy use on some days | USA Premium Unlimited, 5 days | $23.92 |
| Up to 10 days, heavy use on some days | USA Premium Unlimited, 10 days | $36.80 |
| A week or two, maps and messaging | USA 10 GB for 30 days | $9.00 |
| Up to a month, video and hotspot | USA 30 GB for 30 days | $22.20 |
| Up to two months | USA 50 GB for 60 days | $39.10 |
| One or two days | Day pass, 1 GB for 1 day | $1.99 |
| Unlimited for 15 or 30 days | Airalo’s unlimited USA plan, slower after 5 GB a day | $46.00 or $68.00 |
Unlimited USA eSIM prices compared
These are the prices on each provider’s own USA page on 12 October 2026, in US dollars. Saily blocked our automated check with a verification page, so it is not included.
| Length | Code eSIM | Airalo | Holafly |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 days | Not sold | $11.50 | $11.90 |
| 5 days | $23.92 | $18.50 | $20.50 |
| 7 days | Not sold | $25.00 | $27.50 |
| 10 days | $36.80 | $34.00 | $36.50 |
| 15 days | Not sold | $46.00 | $50.50 |
| 30 days | Not sold | $68.00 | $73.90 |
Airalo was the cheapest at every length, and ours was the dearest at the two lengths we sell. What you get for the price is not the same:
| Term | Code eSIM | Airalo | Holafly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Data at full speed | 30 GB in total on the 5-day plan, 60 GB on the 10-day plan | 5 GB a day | No figure on its page; it says speed can be reduced in rare cases and resets the next day |
| After that | 2 Mbps until the plan ends | 1 Mbps for the rest of the day | Not stated |
| Networks listed | AT&T and Verizon | T-Mobile, Verizon and US Cellular | AT&T and T-Mobile |
| Hotspot | Supported; counts towards the allowance | Not checked | Up to 1 GB a day |
Our allowance is a total for the plan, not a daily limit: you can use 15 GB on a heavy day and nothing the next. On Airalo’s plan, a day with more than 5 GB runs at 1 Mbps until the following day, however little you used the day before. Over 5 days that is at most 25 GB at full speed against our 30 GB, and over 10 days 50 GB against our 60 GB. Our guide to whether unlimited eSIM data is really unlimited explains the two models.

Unlimited vs fixed data: the cost by trip
| Your trip | Cheapest unlimited plan we found | Fixed data with us, no speed cap |
|---|---|---|
| 5 days, heavy use | $18.50 at Airalo | 20 GB for 30 days: $15.60 |
| A week, heavy use | $25.00 at Airalo | 30 GB for 30 days: $22.20 |
| 10 days, heavy use | $34.00 at Airalo | 50 GB for 30 days: $35.83 |
| Two weeks, normal use | $46.00 at Airalo | 15 GB for 30 days: $11.50 |
| A month, heavy use | $68.00 at Airalo | 100 GB for 30 days: $64.39 |
30 GB for 30 days at $22.20 costs less than a week of unlimited data from Airalo or Holafly and less than our own 5-day plan, and 100 GB for 30 days at $64.39 costs less than either 30-day unlimited plan. A typical visitor uses 0.5 to 1 GB a day for maps, messaging and browsing, so even a two-week trip rarely needs more than 15 GB; our travel data guide breaks it down by app.
Fixed plans cost more on the other pages we read. On the same day, 10 GB for 30 days was $9.00 with us, $14.00 with Ubigi and $22.50 with Airalo; 20 GB was $36.50 with Airalo, and it is $15.60 with us since 26 October 2026. Holafly’s USA price list is by days of unlimited data.

What 1 or 2 Mbps after the allowance is good for
Once the full-speed data is used, our plans keep working at 2 Mbps until they expire. That is enough for maps, messaging, email, music streaming and voice calls over apps. Video will play at lower quality, and photo backups, large downloads and hotspot for a laptop will be slow. At 1 Mbps, the speed Airalo lists, expect the same things to work with less room: standard-definition video at best, and slow uploads. On our plans you reach that point only if you average more than 6 GB a day; most visitors never do.
The fixed-data plans worth comparing
| Plan | Price | Network listed | Data exits in | Top-up |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 GB, 30 days | $9.00 | Verizon and AT&T, 4G | USA | Yes |
| 20 GB, 30 days | $15.60 | T-Mobile | USA | Yes |
| 30 GB, 30 days | $22.20 | T-Mobile | USA | Yes |
| 50 GB, 30 days | $35.83 | Verizon and AT&T, 4G | USA | Yes |
| 50 GB, 60 days | $39.10 | T-Mobile | USA | Yes |
| 100 GB, 30 days | $64.39 | AT&T and Verizon | UK or Ireland | Yes |
All six list hotspot as supported and no speed cap. The T-Mobile plans also cover Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, and their plan pages say they do not work in Alaska. Because they can be topped up, running out of data does not mean buying a new eSIM, which removes most of the reason to buy unlimited. If you also need a US number for calls and texts, see USA eSIMs with a phone number.
When someone else’s plan is the better buy
- You want unlimited data for more than 10 days. We do not sell it. Airalo’s plan cost $46.00 for 15 days and $68.00 for 30; Holafly’s cost $50.50 and $73.90.
- You want the lowest price for 3 to 7 days. Airalo’s plan cost $11.50 for 3 days, $18.50 for 5 and $25.00 for 7. It suits you if 5 GB a day at full speed is enough.
- You want T-Mobile on an unlimited plan. Our unlimited plans list AT&T and Verizon only. Airalo lists T-Mobile, Verizon and US Cellular; Holafly lists AT&T and T-Mobile.
- You may need to extend the plan. Our unlimited plans cannot be topped up, so the length you buy is the length you get. Airalo’s page describes its USA eSIM as rechargeable online.
When our unlimited plan is the right buy
- Your use is uneven. A total of 30 GB or 60 GB suits a trip with two or three very heavy days, where a daily cap would slow you down on exactly those days.
- You tether a laptop. Both plans list hotspot as supported, and tethered data comes out of the same allowance.
- You want AT&T and Verizon. Both plans list the two networks, which helps on rural drives where one may be stronger. Our USA eSIM guide covers the networks and data-only prices.
Two things to know before buying either: data exits in the UK or Ireland, so websites see a European location, not a US one, and the eSIM expires if it is not activated within two months of purchase. Both plans cover the mainland US and Hawaii and start on first data use.
Frequently asked questions
Is there an unlimited data eSIM for the USA?
Yes. On 12 October 2026, Airalo and Holafly sold unlimited USA plans from 3 to 30 days, and we sold two: 5 days at $23.92 and 10 days at $36.80. Every one has a limit: a daily amount at full speed, a hotspot limit, or a total allowance followed by a slower speed.
What is the cheapest unlimited eSIM for the USA?
Of the three providers we checked on 12 October 2026, Airalo was cheapest at every length: $11.50 for 3 days, $18.50 for 5, $25.00 for 7 and $34.00 for 10. Its page says speed drops to 1 Mbps after 5 GB of use in a day. Holafly cost $20.50 for 5 days and ours $23.92.
Is unlimited USA eSIM data really unlimited?
The volume is, the speed is not. Our 5-day plan gives 30 GB at full speed and the 10-day plan 60 GB, both in total, then 2 Mbps until the plan ends. Airalo’s page lists 1 Mbps after 5 GB a day. Holafly’s page says speed can be reduced in rare cases.
Is there a 30-day unlimited eSIM for the USA?
Not in our catalogue, where the longest unlimited USA plan is 10 days. On 12 October 2026, Airalo’s 30-day unlimited plan cost $68.00 and Holafly’s $73.90. With us, 30 GB for 30 days cost $22.20 on T-Mobile and 100 GB for 30 days cost $64.39, both without a speed cap.
Is unlimited cheaper than a fixed-data USA eSIM?
Usually not. 30 GB for 30 days cost $22.20 with us, less than a week of unlimited data from Airalo at $25.00, Holafly at $27.50 or our own 5-day plan at $23.92. Unlimited only makes sense if you might go beyond the fixed amount on a short trip.
Can I use hotspot with an unlimited USA eSIM?
On ours, yes: both plans list hotspot as supported, and tethered use counts towards the 30 GB or 60 GB full-speed allowance. Holafly’s USA page says you can share up to 1 GB a day. Our fixed T-Mobile plans also support hotspot.
Which network does an unlimited USA eSIM use?
It depends on the provider. Our unlimited plans list AT&T and Verizon, Airalo lists T-Mobile, Verizon and US Cellular, and Holafly lists AT&T and T-Mobile. Data on our unlimited plans exits in the UK or Ireland; our fixed T-Mobile plans exit in the USA.
An unlimited USA eSIM is a short-trip product for heavy users, and for 5 to 10 days the three we checked are within $6 of each other. For a normal trip, 10 to 30 GB of fixed data costs less, lasts longer and, on the T-Mobile plans, can be topped up.
